The campaign of the volunteer fire department "spring cleaning" is very commendable. Local residents and the children's fire brigade were called upon to collect rubbish on public paths and parks. Equipped with garbage bags and tongs, the participants spread out in all directions in Oberzwehren. After 2 1/2 hours a lot of garbage had been collected. As a reward there were grilled sausages and free drinks. And so the barbecue season was opened for 2018. Commendable! Should other parts of the city also do it, our surroundings would be a bit cleaner !!!

The fire brigade in which I am on duty is Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to around 9:00 p.m.
