Very friendly reception with a room upgrade. Breakfast was 4 * like despite covid. Would stay again even without upgrade.

Cleanliness of the rooms (carpets, mattress, sheets, furniture, bathroom) was top notch, felt very inviting. Staff (Suzanne especially) was very understanding, knowledgeable and friendly. Arthur's Pub on the main floor is a quality restaurant with great prices on daily specials. Classic British Pub food, many beers on tap, tons of bottled/canned beers, wide liquor selection. Being a tradesman there for work in Port Hope, lots of other tradesmen (and women) there to converse with in a friendly atmosphere. After Staying at the Comfort Inn in Port Hope, I plan on never going there again because Best Western made me realize just what a hotel should be like!

Very nice.. no AC if hot summer...friendly helpful staff.. very convenient near castle.. nice restaurants nearby.. very nice rooms. Maybe 15 min to old town Coburg.. free parking.

Fantastic experience, hard to find top rate customer service like this. Friendly staff, great customer service skills, responded to requests for a fan (summer heat wave!) for the room, an iron and board, change for vending machine etc. The fact that they have a vending machine on site and hot water for coffee/tea 24/7 is also a great thing. Best breakfast we have had in 2 weeks in Europe, too much to choose and all excellently presented and of top quality. Linens and silverware spotless, old world charm and service!
