SAVE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT STAY HERE. The pictures online are basically false advertising as the hotel looks nothing like them. The rooms are old, dirty, and dingy. The bathrooms are especially a hoot... paint chipping off walls, black mould in various places, and rusty. The back courtyard is overgrown, dirty, and the fountain hadn't been used in what looked like ages. Breakfast was nothing special. We were kept awake by our neighbors for two nights and the concierge refused to help us or move us, but instead was extremely rude. WiFi is 5 EUR for 30 mins, parking is also not free. We were not given a new drinking glass for the entire duration of our stay (3 nights) so had to use the same old plastic (not even glass) drinking cup... Do yourself a favor and find another hotel to stay at!!

All the pictures provided by the hotel do not match reality.The hotel is in a very very bad condition and does not match 4* standards ,bathrooms look especially ugly, minibars are empty, internet is weak,the rooms are very dirty, no airconditions...... Unfriendly and unpolite staff that speaks only broken german and even with irony and sarcasm!!!! All information was only in german at this hotel, not a single word in English throughout the hotel. I will never recommend this hotel!! You,tourists,can easily find much more better hotel with better service and even cheaper than this one!!!! I don’t want to receive any reply from hotel!!! instead you can use the time to train your staff!!

This hotel doesn't even deserve 1 star. First of all the hotel doesn’t look like the pictures posted on the website at all! The rooms are very old, dirty, not even recognizable. Furthermore the spa is disaster, it doesn’t look like on the pictures at all! The staff members of the hotel are extremely rude, I never met this unprofessional team before! They do not welcome their guests at all. They do not have any information written in english and they even refuse to speak any other language than german. Furthermore if you arrive with car you need to pay for parking everyday! There is not even 1 positive thing to write about this place. I will absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone, its waste of money.

I appreciated the location in the center of small pleasant spa city with nice historical buildings and must-to-go ex salt mine. Great local brewery with a true German beer restaurant/kneippe vibe close to the center next to mayor house is another place I can only comment to visit and sample food and squid products. 😜 And Salzburg is easy accessible by train, mountains are nearby, too. Staff was friendly, bar carries the good and well tended draft local beer described above and room was fine. On negative side is over-advertised too crummy sauna. Nice for weekend.
