Have a lot of books and films. Unfortunately, the films cost money -> Unfortunately, in times of Netflix, they are no longer up to date. Otherwise everything is always great. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Very nice and extensive library.
I wanted to rent a DVD and thought this would cost nothing like borrowing books. At the machine I saw then that I will be charged 4 €. That was not worth it to me for this old movie and I told the lady at the counter that I prefer to leave the DVD there. The dark-haired elderly lady was incredibly rude and then said that I have to pay the 4 € fee but now. I am really angry! Above all, my mom was there and I still raved her about the library in Deggendorf and that she should go there and then something! I have discussed with the lady at the counter forever, I have also told her that a fee is only payable if a consideration has been provided. The lady had no understanding. I put the DVD down and left the library (of course without paying) with my mom. Just disappointing!
