Beautiful, wonderful 13th century castle with modern amenities. I was in awe walking up! How this little secret doesn't book up all year is your bargain. My wife and I loved this place. Easy to reach, quiet and so charming. The Krauss' are wonderful hosts. My first choice will be to come back on our next travels through. Will repeat!!

Just a great place to switch off or for romantics and a super nice owner
If I get visit from friends or family members and they do not accommodate even for lack of space, I rent in the beautiful medieval castle in a quiet location one of the four apartments. Mr. Kraus accepts bookings of three nights or more.
There are apartments of various sizes, with sleeping for two, three or four people. All are comfortable and equipped with the things you need for everyday life (kitchenette with stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, living room with TV, telephone, Internet). Also a double room with bathroom is available. Parking in the property are available. The moat and the courtyard invite you to lazy in the sun. Two bakers and a butcher, several restaurants are within walking distance in a few minutes. 1.2 km away are Aldi and Edeka, so you can take good care of yourself. As a starting point for excursions, trade fair or museum visits Kornburg is well suited. After Nuremberg in the city center you can easily and stress-free with bus and subway. By car to the Franconian lakes it is not far. My visit here always feels very comfortable and happy to come back.
