I brought my television in to be repaired. I had to pay 50 euros in advance for troubleshooting. After a few days I was told that the background lighting is defective and that it is no longer worth repairing because the spare part costs 150 euros and with labor costs 300 euros. I then looked at it myself. The TV wasn't even unscrewed for troubleshooting. I removed the defective component after 15mins. It has the part number: SLED 2012SGS46 7030L 64 REV1.0. An LED bar. It took a total of 45 minutes and cost 20 euros. And given away 50 euros.
