A doctor who really takes time for his patients. We feel in the best hands with him. Our gray parrot was operated by him twice in two weeks. Jacco always recovered very quickly and he gets well again. In the fall he has to do it again, but he will do that too .... He responds immediately to questions by email and calls back and explains everything very nicely on the phone. Thank you for everything you have done for Jacco so far, he is getting better and better.
For those who are interested in the bill ...
... he accounts fairly. 👍
This veterinarian was recommended to me by Sage und Schreibe 4 doctors as a luminary as a bird veterinarian (never had to go to the uncle doc around RO with my squirrels because I take great care of my friends) made a highly competent impression on the first phone call! Took time, explained very well (rarely seen anything like this from vets) I have had Beos !, canaries and zebra finches since my early childhood. Money is absolutely irrelevant when it comes to the health of my rascals! Absolutely not!
The last of my zebra omies, a slightly older model, 11 years old, had had signs of head rotation syndrome / CNS disorder possibly for 4 days. through infection by wild birds (which he conveyed to me in a clear and well-explained way, I was bitterly not aware of) When the weather is right, everyone is on my balcony. We had to put his son to sleep 6 days before his death. Thought by turning his head that he was desperately looking for his son, which then turned out to be a clear illness. In my desperation, I called up the veterinary register in the area of RO / MB for a doctor who is well versed in birds and then "landed" with him.
Suggested diagnoses with which one could fathom the causes (which indicate the corresponding symptoms) and what one can do with variant 1 and with the others it would have looked bleak anyway. Mentioned prices that would have interested me very little in the end because it's about my little one and I absolutely do not gnaw on the hunger cloth. "I'll come over today" I hear it echoing in my head, I'm still at the university and listening to a lecture "(Which veterinarian still goes to university at that age and listens to lectures? Made a very big impression on me!) Was reassured to know that my buddy was in "good hands".
Unfortunately I waited and waited and waited on day 1 after "please have a look at my finches". Day 1 came to an end after an endless wait for Uncle Doc and the next morning I called him and asked what he was now? "Oh, I just wanted to call you" (Yes, exactly .... I can v3r4rsch3n myself!). I'll come to you in the late morning / or noon. Thought I could wait, the little one is not in pain. Called me in the afternoon (around 2 p.m. after he wanted to come over in the late morning / noon.) And said ok. Put out baking paper for the fecal analysis that there is no contamination from food, sand, etc. "I'LL COME BY" (in MIANUS! City in Connecticut USA) My little guy, who was already half past eleven and suffering, could hold himself on the baking paper for SUPER hours (sarcastic) From about 4:30 pm his phone was off and then I stood there. My little one was only hanging with his head in the sand (I took out the baking paper in between because I couldn't look at it anymore and there was enough feces on the paper for the analysis. Unfortunately, it took about 4 hours (2 of them paper and 2 in the sand ) rapidly downhill with my long-time companion. I stood like a DEPP at the window and waited and waited. As mentioned, the cell phone was off and more & more despair spread (would have been happy for a release, since I found my way to the rental company and Dog would have liked to get your worm tablets clinic because of the stress shortly before the end)
UNRELIABLE! There is no ZERO COMMA AT HIS "DATES". No call back! Nothing! Called me at 7 PM on DAY 2 he'll be there now. Unfortunately, I was meanwhile in the said Wuff / Miau clinic and released the little one (shortly before a nervous breakdown) because he had been uttering painful tones and half tried to scratch his head!
Maybe he can do something as a veterinarian. But I have NEVER experienced something like that "borderline". Even if an emergency comes up! But that's more or less about it.
Put! 5-! when meeting deadline / organization. Absolute disaster NOT RECOMMENDED!
I prefer to bring my other quitters to Oberschloßheim near Munich! Fuck the 100km drive.
Doctor not very friendly. Hopefully he can handle animals better than humans.
Friendly, open-minded vet .... the bird specialist of the region👍🏻🐔👍🏻
Dr. Köhler treated my two budgies with love.
He is in good shape with birds and knows all about it.
He takes a lot of time to answer his customers and his patients in all questions and to describe them exactly and to tell what the animal is sick.
I think Mr. Köhler is a great and especially polite veterinarian and is definitely recommended especially for all bird species.
Thank you for your great work :)
