Mainzer Hauptfriedhof

Very nice, well-kept cemetery with tombstones that are more than 200 years old. Quiet except for the noise of the adjacent streets. Interesting and new in number for me were the crypt graves from the 19th century. There were also inconspicuous information boards for this. If you come by car, you can park cheaply in Albert-Schweitzer-Strasse (max 2 hours).

Old large cemetery, designed like a park. With a beautiful avenue of trees. An oasis of calm.
