It is a big building no doubt, but does not seem hold as many as artefacts expected. I am not sure If I missed some rooms. I could not see many people as well. However i did see many sculptures in the corridor.

In the wonderful cloister there are excellent objects of sacred art. Sehenswert.😀

The entrance to the Cathedral and Diocesan Museum is in the cloister of Mainz Cathedral. A visit to the museum is a perfect complement to a visit to the Episcopal Church. You can visit the exhibition "The Power of the Archbishops of Mainz - from Boniface to Naumburg Master" until April 21, 2021.
