My wife and I went to the polyclinic for a routine check-up every six months. Friendly staff, no long waiting time and good examination. However, the following bothered us: the doctor looked into my wife's mouth and spoke to her at the same time. Distance approx. 50 cm. This without a doctor's mask during the Corona period. When asked, the answer was that there are few corona cases in Rhineland Palatinate and the doctors are constantly being tested. Sorry, a doctor (Dr.Dr.) should set an example, especially since there were corona information on the mask requirement.

The very young doctor there, who apparently heads a department there, cares more about his reputation than about the health of his patients. I came as an anxiety patient. For over 10 years I have preferred suffering from open nerves, inflammation and other pain than going to the dentist because I once felt everything when I pulled a tooth because of the wrong anesthetic. This young doctor was convinced that I am not an anxiety patient and refused to have anesthesia. Half a year later, after I had no confidence in dentists at all, I still had to go to the dentist because of a very severe inflammation, who was amazed to find that I was rejected in Mainz and finally got the surgery under anesthesia. Thanks for nothing young doctor. after all, he was nice and not just brazen. None of the current doctors can see the risk feared by the young doctor, let alone understand it. But nice that he has such a great reputation at his young age. Should work as a dentist for a decade before he even starts thinking about such things. That he also has students with him and to whom this "knowledge" is passed on should be prohibited. I'm pissed. So that the damage is understandable: 8 teeth have to be treated. Anyone with an open nerve understands me. I've had it 3 times and more inflammation. I only used this painkiller to avoid going to the doctor. But according to the doctor, it's not fear. Super competent the boy.
