Quite good places with decent light sources. But !: No air conditioning or ventilation system. This leads to catastrophically poor air (the measured CO2 values are extremely worrying) and in summer (due to the greenhouse character of the library) to temperatures that actually require an outdoor pool in the library to cool off. Otherwise the stock of books is okay, unless you need up-to-date editions for academic papers that are written by more than one student. And despite all these circumstances, I still enjoy being here. Ps .: I hate Google reviews! Who writes that ?! They all have too much time. Pps .: Sitting in the bib and procrastinating? I can.

The departmental library has got a new extension, which is also air-conditioned and offers attractive workplaces. They are bright and friendly and above all cozy, but the larger and old part is unfortunately very bad. You don't study law because it should be fun, that's the sad result after 2 years of study. And when you had to go back to the departmental library, your mood dropped by a few percentage points, because this departmental library is just like your studies: monotonous and lengthy. What has been solved well are the large glass fronts that let in plenty of natural light. But no air conditioning, no workgroup places. It's just not comfortable. Literature is what you need to study. Not always the latest, and not always in the number you actually need. But with enough luck you can get your hands on a good work.

A single catastrophe - despite the modern extension: no air conditioning, disgusting air, few good workplaces with sockets, insufficient literature (not a particularly large selection and above all not a sufficient number of individual works ...), dark, uncomfortable and loud. Then there are the automatic roller blinds, which react absurdly sensitive and open and close at random. There is only one positive aspect that I can think of about this entire library, namely the existing book scanners. After all, they are a way out of this Moloch if you can work at home or elsewhere. The modern extension is used more by groups for joint discussions, the automatic lighting is completely banana, many benches are uncomfortable - unfortunately unsuitable for working. I'm glad when my studies are finally over and I never have to see this hole again!
