Mega Döner

Maybe not the best looking shop but they serve one of the best döners i have eaten.

Order from Mega Döner 9.1 .: Even when viewing the menu on Lieferando.de, we encountered unexpected surprises. In addition to a wide range of specialties whose origins stretch across the entire southern European subcontinent, there were also several options for congruent dishes. French fries were on the program for € 2.50 while a portion of French fries was only charged € 2.20. There were also individual Sigara Böreks for € 1 each, while a package of 3 was offered at the super saver price of € 4.50. The assumption is that the steadily falling level in the Pisa study in Germany has incited the operators of Mega Döner to this sophisticated trickery, since a poor mathematics education seems to be empirically proven here. We decided on a portion (!) Of french fries, 6 single Sigara Böreks and kebab alla turka which we assumed could be the specialty of the house. When, after just under an hour of delivery time, we euphorically received our meal full of high expectations and immediately unpacked it, we almost hit the blow when we opened the styrofoam box that contained the portion of french fries. Not only were the fries extremely soft, as if you had dipped each one in lukewarm water to prepare each one, but the way the associated mayo was presented was more than an imposition. This was first sprinkled completely untrue and without a recognizable pattern over the recently thawed potato sticks, which drives a pleasant meal with the fingers to the verge of impossibility. The patronizing we saw each other met when it was decided over our heads how the fatty juice was distributed on our portion of french fries hit us deeply. The worst blow of the Turkish people against human dignity since the genocide of the Armenians. The Sigara Böreks were cheaper than in the Super Spar package, but by no means better. Perhaps the operators of Mega Döner saw themselves exposed to such an insult through our clever ordering process that they put as much effort into the preparation as a completely drunk business administration student peeing in someone else's toilet (little). Now to the real star of the evening: The kebab alla Turka. After a brief glimmer of hope when looking at the apparently home-baked and sesame-sprinkled bread, we soon discovered that this kebab was about as far removed from a prestigious figurehead of German-Turkish culture as a Parkinson's patient was from a permanent position as a cardiac surgeon. The bread was soggy and unstable on arrival, which got so worse as it was eaten that the entire content threatened to slip away from this culinary presumption. The meat was consistently unspectacular, the onions were only available in homeopathic quantities, if at all, while an oversized battalion of cucumber pieces took their place. The sauce was only physically present, but did not attract any attention in terms of taste. In general, the overall experience in terms of taste was bland and sobering. Too little salt, under-represented onions, inharmonious interplay of wilted tomatoes and pieces of cucumber, 08-15 kebab meat and a sauce that was so bland that low-fat milk, on the other hand, looked like a hearty goulash soup. In summary, it can be said that the mega doner kebab is so tasteless and accent-free that the only sensible reason to consume it is to prepare for the loss of taste due to the corona virus.

The only one who adheres to the guidelines for infection protection is the woman of the house. All other employees, including the delivery service, do not wear a mask or keep their distance. In addition, the majority of customers in the shop are without a mask and even eat the kebab right in front of the counter. Absolutely not okay in the current situation. It's a wonder the health department hasn't been here yet.

Not serviced, but very tasty

Nothing has changed after 20 years. The meat is still disgusting. Too much fat (wobbly stuff) That the shop has survived so long amazes me.
