I just discovered this lovely place. It is a beautiful building with one projection room. The films offered there are not the mainstream films but intellectually rewarding ones.

Cinémayence is the one and only true arthouse cinema in Mainz. They show many independent productions and documentaries. Many movies are shown in original version with subtitles. Ticket prices are very reasonable and the place is charming. Love it!

A small and cosy cinema which usually shows the less well known movies, usually from film festivals. The movies are usually screened in the original language with subtitles.

I like this little movie theater, it kinda has something like the favorite cake on the table. (Almost) all the films are very well chosen.
