Malama Restaurant & Lounge

Don't understand the whole negative review. You have to consider that they only opened about 3 weeks ago. We were initially a bit put off by the reviews and are more than pleasantly surprised. Very friendly and courteous service, especially from our waitress (Yasemin). Food came quickly, prices were reasonable for the ambience and taste and not much more expensive than other restaurants in Wiesbaden. Colorful and young audience, nice atmosphere and here I actually ate the best tiramisu (from Gabriel) in a long time. I think there's a kind of effervescent powder in it and it's very light. Really tasty and nicely decorated. The boss came and asked if we needed anything, as well as the very friendly staff. And the atmosphere clearly stands out from other restaurants and hookah bars in Wiesbaden. The beautiful indirect lighting, palm trees, large winter garden, the elegant entrance area (red carpet) make you feel a little like on vacation. What I like best is that there isn't that typical shisha bar flair here. And there is plenty of parking space.

The Malama is no ordinary hookah bar where you only get your hookah and possibly a snack. This is the ideal place for connoisseurs and connoisseurs, because here, from the ambience, to the food, to the shisha and to the service, value is placed on quality and attention to detail. The menu offers a wide selection of interesting starters, main courses and desserts that are lovingly and stylishly arranged ... not to be forgotten is of course that they taste very good. The staff always strives for the well-being of their guests and acts professionally. All employees are very courteous and nice. On the whole, I can only recommend the Malama and the beautiful location is always worth a visit! ;)

We were guests at the Malama today. Not only is it a wonderful ambience and a great location, but we also liked the food very much. You are greeted very friendly at the entrance and you feel right at home. I really liked that the guests were taken care of directly. The menu offers a wide range of delicious dishes. The food is served very clearly and tastefully. The saying that you eat with your eyes is fully implemented! The service staff are very courteous and polite, and respond to every request of the guest. We didn't miss anything and our expectations were exceeded! We will now visit the Malama more often & will definitely have some family celebrations there too! Thank you for the lovely evening.

I absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews. I had such a wonderful evening there. From the visual appearance, the reception, the excellent food to the service and the ambience, nothing could have been improved. The last time I saw such a great restaurant was in Berlin. An enrichment for our city of Mainz! Great you keep it up! You definitely won us. See you soon and good luck

Nice ambience, looks classy at high prices. The menu is clear and has menu descriptions like a starred restaurant. Overall, however, we 8 people were disappointed. There was lipstick on the glass, it was exchanged without excuse, but only by the two waiters. A meal went wrong. The starter was completely neutral in taste, the steak as well done didn't combine inside and out. The other main courses badly seasoned. At the end of the day, the waiter, Italian, said he needed a service fee of 20%. All in all, we were very dissatisfied and will never visit the restaurant again. I can only attribute the positive reviews to a large family. My conclusion: The attempt is made to make it very fine at high prices, although it tastes better in every kebab shop
