Lovely hotel comfy bed, and breakfast was perfect tasty and plentiful.. Staff were welcoming and informative.. Plenty to do and see in and around.. One disappointment was the indoor pool was out of use Restaurant opposite recommended..

This hotel serves a good breakfast, starting at 6:30 which is a plus for business travelers, and the rooms are well insulated. I was next to the elevator which is always a moment of terror but I never heard it going up and down. Plus the hotel has a pool which is a real rarity in Germany. My only complaint was the pillows, and that's just because I like the American style, you know the rectangular ones, and they had the old school German square style. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a room in Mainz.
