Mainz-Kastel Zoo

It is a small park and I feel that with the right care could have more to offer.

I'm so happy here. You can also 'book' for 1 children's birthday party or similar.

As indicated by another reviewer, this is great for residents wanting a short little tiny small (get it? Lol) walk. If you are a tourist, skip this. If you are a resident and looking to kill time this is cute, free parking it’s a plus.

Great for all the family nice and friendly staff no fee to get in but we allways donate 5€ worth going if you have kids 👌

I'm sure it was nice years ago, but has not been kept up well. The appearance of the grounds may have been forgiven, but many of the animals looked ill. The real dissappontment was when my young daughter pointed out a dead chicken. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
