Truly exceptional Bratwurst. The temperature of the meat, crust of the sausage, spices and the smoky smell are perfect. The softness of the bread roll goes well together with the fine fine Thuringian mustard. Skip the official Wartburg restaurant and get a Roster with the bikers. Best sausage in Thüringen.

The bratwurst is delicious and the operators are friendly and cheerful. Nice stop on the way up!

We ended our season with a trip to the Wartburg. Parking our Harleys was a bit of a hassle, but it worked. We paused at the bratwurst stand with a tasty Thuringian bratwurst coffee and cold drink.
