Great art space. Attended an abstract art exposition that was pleasantly surprising in terms of diversity and quality! Can recommend to everyone, especially for anyone willing to couple an afternoon in a museum with a nice walk in Kornelimünster and its green surroundings.

Very unfriendly staff, should hand over my sticks, which I always need / use for walking, at the entrance, my husband asked why I should hand them over, he was very rude. I was called back like a dog. After that I didn't want to go to the museum anymore. That was also wrong and he screamed what kind of people were here. It would have been possible he would have kindly pointed out to me that you can't go to the museum with sticks that you need. This tone that prevails there doesn't remind me of the FRG. I have never experienced anything like it. It's a shame and sad. Well, as long as this staff is there, I won't go to the museum. Of course, there may be other friendly employees.

Nice exhibition (comfortable 30-40 minutes tour) in the very beautiful abbey. The exhibition itself is, in my opinion, not worth the journey, but if you are strolling through the tranquil Kornelimünster anyway, you can recommend the exhibition with a clear conscience. Free entry, nice and courteous staff. Covid 19 protective measures are implemented sensibly (hygiene concept and inspection according to the one-way street principle available).

The "Kunsthaus-NRW" is located in the historical center of Kornelimünster, almost wall to wall, with the St. Kornelius church. A sign indicates that this was once the "Old Imperial Abbey", where the Kunsthaus is today ... The Kunsthaus NRW gives an insight into the art from NRW from 1948 - into the present .... This is the Kunsthaus NRW, not a museum, but a a collection - management where artists can present themselves .... At the entrance, across the spacious square, to the entrance, a metal triangle seems to float in the air, which you installed well as it is, that is the first eye - catcher that you can see from the art exhibition three large steel balls are placed in front of the entrance .... The entrance door is striking due to its two divided, different color design .... that has no normal apartment building, so on offer, that's just art, in the interest of the beholder .... Entry and entry into the house and garden is permitted free of charge, but you are happy about every donation ...... . Opening times of the Kunsthaus NRW: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is closed here: Open from Thursday to Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Open on Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00 Admission is free...... For your information: The Kunsthaus draws attention to itself ..... Children friendly ... Parking available ... Disabled access ... (But only in the lower area, on the ground floor, since the upper floor is only accessible by stairs ...) Dogs are allowed ...

Unfortunately closed due to corona, therefore not assessable. From the outside but very nice and well preserved
