Got a good car. The booking , handover experiences were smooth. Additional KM, road side Assistance, coverage charges are reasonable. They have some additional charges- premium location charge at 24% which is ridiculous and not clear at booking.

Nice place to rent vehicles. They have good quality vehicles too! From Volvo to Audi to Volkswagen. Cars are well maintained and very good for city driving or taking them on the Autobahn. I always say one of the things I miss most about Europe and Germany specifically is the cars. Such a joy to drive. And the highway are well maintained.

Beware that they will try to gouge you for so-called "damage" to the vehicle as small as a 2-inch scratch on a bumper. You will need to go over the rental front to back, taking photos of every square inch, and even then if you miss something you are screwed because you have to sign saying that the vehicle has no damage you didn't note in order to pick it up. Not that they actually FIX the damage, mind you. Our vehicle had 7 noted scratches, dents and dings that they surely charged others for but never fixed. At over €1400 per item, and with all of those items unfixed, they are clearly using this as a way to make money. I personally will never rent from Sixt again.

With all this bad reviews , and the staff stealing money by making fake report about scratches , i will no rent any car from them . Going to europcar or someone else ! Check the reviews guys , and careful about fake reviews . Take care

Our train was delayed to our arriving station, and we were told our car was not held for us, however we could rent the same car using the Sixth App. If it’s the same company, why couldn’t we just get our car as we originally reserved online? As a foreigner traveling to Germany for the first time, it was difficult to get the app and redo our entire rental process without cell phone service. Even when we got the app working, the employee there had to help us finish the reservation. All in all, it added unneeded stress, effort, and wait time to our vacation. Very disappointed, and will likely not be using Sixt again.
