The dealership can only be recommended. As an "emergency" from outside the industry, my Opel came to the workshop after a breakdown. The team really gives it their all and I haven't seen such good service in a long time. Any time :-)

Yesterday we picked up our "new" used one at the Otto car dealership and would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Otto for his commitment. Mr. Otto kept us happy while we were waiting for an appointment and then "processed" the purchase very quickly and in a friendly manner. This is how / should be good customer service. Centrally located company. Nice and friendly staff. Competent advice and very good service. Customer requests are implemented as quickly as possible. The management is reliable and always up to date. 08/30/2020 - 8:32 pm Our BMW E60 523i (N52) (Bj 05) unfortunately indicated on the way home that the coolant was getting warm or hot. The iDrive then indicated that the temperature is too high and the engine should be switched off. We then stopped as quickly as possible at the Hünxe service area (A3) so that there would be no consequential damage. Since I thought that it could only be the e-water pump and I thought it was defective, I contacted the ADAC directly. With the horror scenario that the car has to be towed. The call back came at 8:46 p.m. Around 9 p.m. the nice person from ADAC was there and checked the vehicle. With the result that there is no defect. The water pump builds up pressure and the temperatures were ok. The error memory was also empty. At 9:20 p.m. we were able to continue the journey without any disturbances and arrived home safely. Today, August 31st, I read out the vehicle myself with professional software and found errors 2E81 and 2E82 in the error memory. As well as the air mass meter with 2D06. With the help of the diagnostic software I was able to test the water pump directly. The water pump only runs up to a maximum of 50% power. At 90% the pump switches off sporadically from a value of 60-70% (actual), audible. It appears that under full load the pump turns on and off, which increases the water temperature. There are no problems with normal driving. We'll have the pump replaced now. Thanks for the yellow angel who was able to provide certainty in the diagnosis for the continued journey.
