I absolutely do not like reading & writing reviews on Google, because in my opinion they have a negative effect in most cases, represent short snapshots of dissatisfied customers who just want to “let air out” quickly and do not understand how much damage they are actually causing can. That just in advance. The other day I wanted to check the pandemic-related opening times on Google at my regular DM in Nuremberg Aufseßplatz and unfortunately ended up being a little curious about the latest customer reviews. Here it literally knocked the mask off my face! You could read in abundance here from “unfriendly employees” and “bad service”. The exact opposite is the case! The staff in this branch do an admirable job! All! Here is the reason: I visit this branch almost every day for small purchases, as I live nearby and I was always warmly welcomed, advised and said goodbye. It must be emphasized that this branch on Aufseßplatz feels overcrowded at every second of the day. Meter-long queues at the cash registers, people from all population groups and ethnicities, groups of teenagers, young mothers who are bored. True to the motto: There is nothing else open at the moment. Anyone who lives in the southern part of Nuremberg knows exactly how this is meant. It's hard to imagine the pressure that employees are under during the pandemic. You alone keep the “shop running for us”. Submitting a negative review here just because a person may feel "hit by" is not only wrong, it is bold beyond measure. Amazing: the employees are all normal people. Every day, thousands (perhaps due to the pandemic) hectic and irritable customers want to be juggled and satisfied. Every day. While others in short-time work, home office or wherever in their boredom take the 3 minutes to criticize on the Internet and, in the worst case, influence entire existences. Shame on you! Again: At DM this has nothing to do with normal retail conditions at the moment, as emphasized above, what these people have to achieve is simply admirable. Especially in this branch. The employees of the surrounding shops such as Rossmann, Netto and Mac Geiz could easily learn a slice of this (hardly any eye contact or greeting). Please save your outdated “the customer is king” wisdom from the 50s in the future. It is precisely the customers in this DM branch who behave not only un-royal, but downright embarrassing! I see people protesting without masks, who feel attacked when they are spoken to. As if the employees here were pursuing political goals! I see young mothers who, presumably out of boredom, “put” their children in the DM and cause chaos. I see customers who are upset with broken German about the fact that the tills are understaffed due to a lack of staff. People who are not able to act normally, although this is more than clearly and clearly marked. I could go on and on here forever. Bottom drawer. This diagram can, of course, be applied to the majority of the retail sector, but I think it will find its absolute negative climax in the branch on Aufseßplatz. Please have some respect and think twice before you give negative customer reviews, that's all I want to say with this review. The third time to the employees: You are all doing an amazing job! You have my fullest admiration, especially at this strange time. But to all keyboard naggers and digital hobbyists: Please do something useful, thank you!

Very unfriendly staff ... you should probably change

The market is ok but unfortunately very small for the huge catchment area. That is why it is usually overcrowded, you step on your feet and other customers are constantly in the way. I think the employees change daily and are therefore sometimes friendly and sometimes unfriendly. Depending on who is working there. Most of the customers, however, are the worst ghetto. Above all, social welfare mothers think that the dm belongs to them and their naughty offspring. But this now applies to all dm branches. Very often they are mistaken for a playground. The cash registers are rude after the renovation. Only one till has a band, the other is called Schnellkasse and you don't know where to go with the bought stuff because there is no place to put it. I avoid the branch whenever I can. Another branch could well tolerate this area, with better parking, fewer ghetto customers and normal cash registers.
