I absolutely agree with the penultimate review! I can use the service from Mr. Do not recommend Arens and his team. I have rarely seen such an unprofessional way of working. When I filed my income tax return, an employee forgot to submit my return to the tax authorities and this was noticed when I asked about it after a few weeks. I was also verbally promised additional tax benefits by an employee with casual statements like "we can do it", "we can justify it", ... - a lot of talk and little action! Instead, I would like a tax advisor to provide extensive and factual advice - above all because it concerns tax issues and full transparency of information about legal options but also limits is required! I always had to be after things myself and remind myself to ask the tax authorities about the status after a reasonable time. In general, the accessibility is not sufficient. When trying to make a phone call during business hours, an answering machine or a lady often says that the responsible employees are out of the house. On complaints Mr. Arens does not agree at all, but only insists on the settlement of invoices for the "service rendered". The bills are then higher than intially coordinated (additional costs are deliberately kept secret at the outset). Overall, based on my experience, I would recommend that everything be confirmed in writing and recorded - or even better, go to another competent tax advisor! After all, you pay a price and want an income tax return without a headache!

Accountant Ralph Arens has accepted a mandate for 3 companies and our private tax returns in 2016. Unfortunately, this ends now since December 2018 in the lawsuit for damages. He has repeatedly missed deadlines with us, even deposited false corporate figures at the Federal Gazette for a company. He never answered our written questions in writing, perhaps because verbal misrepresentation is difficult to prove. In 2018, he left us alone in the middle of a tax audit, has not reported any contact attempts for over 4 months. Only after our written notice that we are forced to initiate the legal process and the dropping of our mandates at the wrong time can not remain without consequences (even the tax office has surprised his behavior), he has continued the mandate sullenly. His bills appeared human. But the consequential damages of his work go into the thousands of euros. We have verifiably paid all his bills properly, except for one, which we wanted to settle with late payments and interest of the tax office, as well as order procedure and fines of the Federal Gazette / Federal Office of Justice. Thereupon he denies us until today the publication of our tax-relevant documents / data and we have to laboriously reconstruct the last few years with the new tax consultant and gather together what goes into the costs. It seems that the competence of the tax consultant Ralph Arens is limited to income tax returns, further connections and tax advice of companies are in our experience not in his area of ​​expertise. All this is not as serious as his irresponsible approach to clients and his client-damaging behavior towards us. Everyone here has the right to truthfully write down their experiences. Our experience described here must withstand a judicial review in the future and that is why we are fully behind all written here.
