Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Bielefeld Sud

Last year I rented a car with a couple of friends for 2 weeks because we wanted to do a little road trip through Europe. Rented a car, the price was really good compared to the competition and the service was also satisfactory. I deliberately said that I need a car that is at least the size of a Vw Passat, when I wanted to pick up the car the day before I got there I got a much smaller Mondeo. So I was allowed to get myself a roof rack and a roof box, but now you can't change anything. Unfortunately, I was involved in a major accident in Croatia (fully comprehensive and everything you can book). The first problem was the lack of a green card from the insurance company .. thanks to the nice police officers, I didn't have to pay a fine of € 500 as I promised to hand it in the next day (by email). The day after the accident I received the green card by e-mail and showed it to the police, as far as everything was good, the only thing left was the defective vehicle. I called Enterprise and described the situation and that I cannot go back home with the car because the cooler pack was hanging loosely in the engine compartment and I can no longer open the driver's door. Unfortunately, I was told on the phone that I couldn't get a replacement car and that I should have the car repaired on site. I told him that a repair to this extent (renewing the bonnet, bumper, fenders, driver's door and painting and renewing other parts) would take too long because we had to go home in 5 days, so the nice gentleman didn't know what to do and stopped Consultation with his department ... even with the call back I was sadly not helped, or I should just rent a new car👍🏻 In the end, I was allowed to repair the car myself, as I am an automotive mechatronics technician .. so I have tools I bought the car and set it up on the curb in front of the apartment so that we can at least get home again, thank you again Enterprise ... In the meantime I have rented cars from the orange competitor several times and I was never disappointed, even got better cars than I reserved and paid for ... you can see that the good price is not everything. Absolutely not recommendable to rent a vehicle there, thanks not to stress again

Delivery date of the rental car was over 2 hours, there was no information about the delay. Even after several calls, there was no information about the whereabouts. In times of mobile phones and other technical possibilities, I find something very weak and customer-unfriendly. Too bad I hope this is an isolated case ...

Very friendly and quick service. You are greeted by name and have the choice of several cars that were previously new and clean. A spontaneous extension of a rental car is effortless.
