Rudolf-Steiner-Schule Bielefeld

Unfortunately, after just one year at the school (3rd grade) we literally fled. The school is mainly funded by parents. This meant that many people were giving their children complete freedom of choice. Be it in terms of education or behavior. My child was physically attacked by another child (that even bled) and the teacher did not protect my child, nor did the teacher reprimand me (after Waldorf-type). Then I talked extensively with the offender (which the teacher hardly endured in fear of the parents). The class teacher of my child thanked me personally, that I reacted, because the LuL's hands were tied. Unfortunately, there were many such attacks up to this incident that I only learned about through my child. In addition, my child almost completely lost reading and arithmetic during this time, which made it difficult to make up for it. I regretted the choice of school and even today my child sometimes tells me what was going on there. That was probably the purest horror house. The LuL were always very friendly to us, but you can only be overwhelmed under the working conditions, because a very large part of the class needed any funding (about 1/3) and I experienced that in 2013 only in parents evenings. And unfortunately, many of the parents are very worried about their children and very demanding what the LuL. Very sad.
