Schenke is not one of the Edeka markets I prefer, offers are often not available or you run into annoyed employees.
For me more appearance than reality ...
Giving is the shop where I go shopping every day. And why there? Because quality and freshness are there. From good and cheap items to branded products and delicacies, there is a lot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. 🙂
The employees do not ensure that the distance is maintained, especially at the cash registers, people move very close and if I say something to the customers behind me nothing happens. The cashier didn't care, she didn't even speak much, just said the price. Already happened 2 times. I don't feel safe or comfortable in this shop. Too bad.
Overall, the store is very tight. It is hardly possible to keep the appropriate intervals during the coronavirus. There is also often a crush at the cash registers. This situation is exacerbated by the fact that the already narrow aisles are filled with any advertised products. The shopping carts (compulsory during Corona, but sensible measures make it even tighter) are often hardly roadworthy.
In general, it always drives me crazy that the shop is built like a horseshoe. If you forget something at the beginning, you have to travel long distances to get there again.
There are individual products that attract me there. The "experience" now often scares me off. However, I will avoid this Edeka during the pandemic or at peak times.
I can only confirm the other reviews. In this shop the distance is not respected and the sellers don't support you either, even if you ask them to. They neither indicate distance nor the mask requirement and do not seem to adhere to the corona measures themselves.
