The Whiskey here was really good, and you can try the tasting for only two euros! There's also a special beer which you can try for one euro. The place is a bit difficult to find. We just randomly walked into an alley and stumbled upon this place.
Small but very nice. TOP whiskey.
Leadership is worth it.
A very cozy location in the heart of the old town. An interesting selection of whiskey, a very pleasant ambience and friendly service make for a modern Franconian experience. Unfortunately, you can no longer buy whiskey, the limited amount of local spirits sold out quickly. The beer brewed on site tastes very fresh, and you can buy large bottles to take away. The beer amisu was also very interesting .. Yes, quite cleverly combined😁
We very much hope that after the lockdown, the doors of the ALTSTADTHOFES will be open again for everyone.
Making whiskey from beer was new to me, but it tasted very good. The final expansion of the whiskey takes place classically in the appropriate barrels. In terms of taste, the difference can be clearly tasted, but it is something different than single malts. The price of 2 euros per button is cheap in my opinion. So try it, it pays off!
