Anyone who chooses a natural forest as the final resting place for a loved one knows, not least by the enlightening words of the forester that forest is just forest. And that it can be muddy in the parking lot.
We are always grateful that we have found such a beautiful resting place. Even if you have to change your shoes or the car gets dirty.
The issue of burial is certainly a very personal one and therefore I can only say that the FriedWald in Ebermannstadt was the right decision for us in any case.
We buried our deceased father here a few weeks ago. Our experience with FriedWald, especially with the local staff in Ebermannstadt, was consistently positive. From the tree selection to the funeral, we were always well advised and supported by the forester.
The location of the forest, as well as the forest itself, are extremely beautiful. A healthy, living forest, as natural and quiet as you would imagine. The accessibility of some trees is a little difficult, but this is due to the natural slope and on the other hand can be considered in the selection of the tree already.
For the funeral, we could do everything exactly as we had wished. A freedom that in turn would not have been in a cemetery.
Quiet, largely natural, partially accessible by wheelchair (main routes and prayer place 2).
