In Freising there aren't that many cafés outside of the old town. This book café is a real insider tip, because many locals have probably never heard of it either. It is wonderful here, especially in summer, when you sit in the cozy, large garden under old trees. Inside, on the other hand, there are mainly: books, books and more books. At a reasonable price, you can stock up on reading material to your heart's content and thus even support a good cause.
The coffee tastes very good, there are also cakes and a few simple but tempting dishes from pizza to tarte flambée. The menu changes every week, so it's worth checking in more often - but that's not the only reason.
The only small catch: the opening times of the Buchcafé Etappe are not exactly generous.
So dear people here, delicious food and great prices. Big recommendation, especially if you can sit in the beautiful garden 🥰
