Great library, big, comfortable and classy. Unfortunately because of covid the access to the library is limited but in general i love it. Quite, nice atmosphere best place for studying and working. The staff could definitely do with some English considering international students are not expected to speak German.

I am usually not one of the reviews writes and if then only very positive, but that will be my first negative. As a non-student but normal worker, I wanted to register here on the recommendation of a colleague (who also does not study) to write an important e-mail. Immediately I am told with increased volume that this is a scientific library and this is not for surfing the Internet. When I told the orange-red-haired woman that it was just an e-mail she wanted to sign me first and demanded my identity card. My Austrian driver's license recognized in the EU as an ID card did not want to take and pointed out that I also need a confirmation of registration. I also had this as a scanned PDF document, but I did not accept it either. Last but not least, she gave me a small folder in front of this nose and almost shouted at me that I can read the conditions for using the library here. Well, Mrs. Rude, I do not need these because I certainly will not come to you any more! Even if she is right with what she says, there are much nicer ways to say something like that, you do not have to be rude from the first second!
