Booked two rooms and the receptionist made an error only confirming one. It was quickly sorted with no fuss and the girl was very apologetic. There were no pillows in my room, but again, the staff were quick to rectify the issue. The rating would be lower but the staff (sure it is their job) were quick to sort everything out with no hassle and incredible professionalism.
This was a nice place and served the purpose. Clean and a nice staff.
The hotel located in a small town called Freising. Great town. Slow pace. Nice people. Great restaurants. Town center is a mere 5 minute walk from hotel through a small pedestrian path then through charming neighborhood. As for the hotel, my room was nice, functional ,clean. Friendly staff, housekeeper. Trendy bar,super bar staff. Great breakfast.
Beware this hotel. We anticipated a fee for the shuttle, but did not anticipate 45 Euros each way for our family with kids.
After putting up the do not disturb sign on our door, housekeeping entered our room and cleaned (sure, the do not disturb sign is flimsy and could have fallen off), but the thing that is troubling is that cash was stolen from a wallet that was accidentally left on the bedside table when we went out to explore the town.
The breakfast was good and had a great variety of options. The pool was nice for the kids. Overall I would avoid this hotel in the future.
Awesome Marriott Hotel. Great restaurant! Very attentive staff. About a 30 Euro taxi ride from the airport. The hotel has a shuttle service, but it's not free. It's 10 euro per person one-way. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and spacious.
