The Korbiniansbrünnlein is inconspicuous but has a long history on the south-east side of Weihenstephan. The stairs are newly renovated and everything is clean and well maintained. Anyone who has enjoyed the view of the airport, the mountains and Munich above should definitely make the few meters to the Korbiniansbrünnlein.

It would be really nice there, unfortunately on the 1st Sunday in August 3 p.m. the gate is locked. It is only open 7 times a year, if it is too much to ask for it to be open during the stated opening times. I was born in Freising and the tradition of washing eyes at the Korbiniansbrünnlein was carried out with me as a baby. Today I wanted to pass this tradition on ... unfortunately in vain.
