There is a Tourist Information office near Marienplatz just across from the Zierer Haus (Standesamt). It is a small corner shop but easy to find. Here you can pick up a free City Guide tourist map that is very helpful for sightseeing around Freising. There is not much available online in the English language so a stop here for the multi-language guide which pin points 14 attractions with a short description of each is very helpful. In the end, it is well worth your time visiting the Tourist Information at Marienplatz if you plan to spend a half day or more in Freising.

Information material is available even when the shop is closed. Unfortunately no WiFi. Should be better signposted.
