A really nice site that also tells a story if you follow along clock wise. I suggest taking your time and to soak it all up, pun intended.
The fountain is extremely beautiful. It represents all stages of married life, from love to death. The theme (to go clockwise) is the different stages of marriage (from idyll to murder) with interesting expressiveness of the characters. He is very big and makes a big impression. The first time I saw him when I got off the subway, the Weisse Turm stop, right next to the fountain, stunned me!
Nuremberg more tham va the place where justice was done after the WW2 is a very lovely and modern city that deserves to be seen.
Very interesting but always crowded
Find the time to go around and study it. Very interesting piece of art.
