Quiet district, many former miners live here, around the St. Barbara church Schools, doctors, pharmacies and grocery stores are all within walking distance. Also a train station with a connection to Essen, Gelsenkirchen or Münster.

A small train station, but clean. From here you can hike beautifully through the woods.

Worse, it does not come down in the dark you should avoid this place.

Nothing special, is just small and has little connection. But better than garnix. Unfortunately a bit neglected and getting old.

A cute little stop. There are only two trains per hour: one to Wuppertal and one to Haltern am See. The single track would also no longer allow train traffic. Unfortunately, the elevator is often broken, but this has to be attributed to vandalism. A small waiting house ensures that about a dozen people do not have to stand in the rain. Unfortunately, the glass panes have been missing for some time. Rubbish is lying around here often and for a long time. I have never seen anyone cleaning up here either. Overall, the HP does its job.
