Food very good, nice atmosphere. Waiter somewhat indisposed (second pizza and second small juice forgotten, on the bill the juice was just as big as the first ...). Low prices for food are consumed again by expensive drinks.

Very nice atmosphere and super nice service! Had a creme brulee and a caffe latte very, very tasty. Want to try the food soon. Would love to come back and can only recommend it. 👍

We dined here with 4 adults and one child. The ambience at the castle is pretty to look at and it's nice to sit outside. Unfortunately, our experiences with eating and dealing with customers were mixed. We ordered 3x pasta for the adults which was ok. For an adult there was Saltimbocca for about 20 €. The veal schnitzel tasted good. It could have been a little less salt as the ham is salty too. The real problem with that was two other things and the restaurant's response to them. The salad served on the plate was partly not fresh and some leaves had turned brown. When I pointed this out, we received the explanation that the olive oil caused this. Of course, it's not understandable at all. Of course, olive oil doesn't make the fresh salad brown and limp. No fresh salad has just been used here. The second was that the bread explicitly served as a side dish consisted of exactly 3 thinly sliced ​​baguette slices. Together the 3 discs were maybe 3 cm. This really cannot pass as a side dish. When I asked for enough side dishes, a bread basket with further sliced ​​baguette was brought. That was fine. However, we were charged € 2 extra for this. After a guest complains about a really tiny amount to invoice the compensation, I find it at least unusual. We ordered simple macaroni and parmesan for the child. Our child is 6 years old and not much eater. But the small amount wasn't even enough for our child. We were charged 6 € for this so-called child portion. Even if it had been enough, for pure cooked macaroni with parmesan on the side it would have been a sporty price. But now it comes ... When I asked if the child could be brought something so that he would be fed up from his position, there was actually a second, which was then on the bill with an extra 3 €. We spent a total of around € 100 there. Charging extra for obvious quantities is really questionable behavior. And from good restaurants I am used to the fact that if the quality is poor, like the brown salad here, there is at least one excuse, preferably a friendly gesture from the house to make amends. But that didn't come. Instead came the surcharges for bread and a fair amount of macaroni for the child. Unfortunately it was a bad experience and we will not go back to this restaurant nor would we recommend it. In addition, when my wife went to the toilet after the complaint, my wife heard how they made fun of us and the complaint in the kitchen. Really bad experience. My advice: Better go eat somewhere else where you will be treated well.
