Glandom von 1225 mit Superorgel

Nice old church.

"Glandom" is exaggerated as a name because there never was a bishop here. The old monastery church is early Gothic. Since the monks were expelled after the Reformation, the church would be used as a quarry. Half the village has "borrowed" stones there. After the 2nd foundation of the empire, the Prussians saved the rest and closed it with a neo-Gothic wall.

A beautiful piece of history worth the trip. The old walls put you in a bygone era and cast a spell over every visitor. The church is idyllically situated in the beautiful Glantal and is easy to reach, whereby the drive there promises recovery because of the beautiful landscape. I can only suggest a visit to everyone.
