A beautiful Romanesque cathedral, simply adorned, but majestic. Worthy to visit are also the crypt and the graves of the older emperors and kings of the Sacred Roman Empire (the entrance is 2,80€ for the adults).

Speyer Cathedral is in the UNESCO world heritage list and it's a culturally important site filled with positive vibes. A calm and quite place, lot to explore near by like old gate, Technische Museum, Rhein river, and more.

A one of it's kind Cathedral ( Dom ). The cathedral is claimed to have the largest Romanesque crypt in Europe. This is where all the burial happenings to the most significant emperors/empresses of Germany. Definitely worth a visit as you would have the chance to see most of the tombs.

Gorgeous cathedral in downtown Speyer. Roman Catholic cathedral, officially the Imperial Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption and St Stephen. This world Heritage site is situated nicely in the old town area surrounded by parks and cafe areas. The cathedral was founded in 1030AD and consecrated 30 years later, it is the burial place for a few Habsburg emperors. The crypt is accessible with additional purchase, but there is not too much to see down there. Parking can be had with ticket close by and there are many cafes and ice cream shops lining the street nearby.

Beautiful sandstone structure and UNESCO world heritage site. I loved walking around it, both inside and outside. Amazing how old it is.
