In my experience, the D&A saddlery is absolutely not recommended.
I had given 4 original, very well-preserved headrest covers and an original armrest cover from the VW Golf IV GTI as a template for making new covers. The owner assured me that she can sew new covers and reupholster the armrests. O-Ton of the owner: "That's not a problem, I learned that." But she did not tell me that she can only sew the hems by hand and the seams like the original seams. Even when I picked up the things, not a word from her about her job or any problems she may have had.
Only after my first complaint did she admit that she did not have the necessary sewing machine for hems. The owner's comment on her botched hems: “They don't open, and you don't even see them.” The owner repaired the absolutely unprofessional armrest cover, but at the same time caused new mistakes. She had sewn the new headrest covers completely wrong. The fact that she sewed all the covers together incorrectly resulted in creases, the seams became bulging, the original shape of the cover was lost and the decorative seams became crooked. I had decided not to touch up the new headrest covers, as they were all completely wrong Instead, I was given a discount. The owner threw away my old, very well-preserved headrest covers.
I am satisfied, very friendly, very competent.
