So-called city camping site at the beautiful Speijer. Beachclub (5 min walk) Rheinstrand is highly recommended. City center is very nice, nice shops and relaxed catering. Camping is absolutely nothing, ideal for late arrivals and chilly, bare pitches. Camping has been full of business travelers for several days. Drive around the campsite every 5 minutes and continuously enter and leave the campsite. Shout and leave a huge mess. Very uncomfortable feeling. Does not give a sense of security. Toilet clogged, rubbish overflowing, toilet roll holder torn off the wall, 5 ladies from notorious company suddenly enter the ladies toilet and leave a mess. Companion dogs run around loose (despite clear instructions). It is a pity that the campsite manager (with his relaxed reception) does not intervene. We have been 2 days (and went into hiding in the city), but left again in a hurry. Despite the fact that this is a transit campsite, these non-campers are allowed to stay overnight (we spoke to other campers who had been there for a longer time).

Had blocked the space for an event next weekend, but not pointed out on the website. Very disappointing if you arrive and then have to look for an alternative in the evening.

Stayed one night here. Can only recommend. City sightseeing in Kehl and Strasbourg made. Round trip by tram / tremp.
