Wife and I stayed the night on our way to Wurzburg after seeing the Baldern Castle. Food was very good and recommend the spinach pesto. It was a little difficult ordering since some employees didn't speak English very well and my German is sub par. (the younger employees did speak English fluent) I would rather trade good food and price for fluent English speakers. Almost a year later and I still remember the Pesto.

Very good German (Swabian) cuisine. The finest onion roast, as well as the veal cream roast; fresh homemade salads. It was delicious. We would love to come back sometime when we are in Ostalbkreis 🚐 and will recommend the restaurant. Friendly service. Good value for money.

We liked it very much! Nice room, delicious breakfast and great beer garden, beautifully located next to a paddock. Top culinary quality from the region ... highly recommended! You experience a high level of appreciation as a guest, feel that you are in very good hands and receive valuable tips and information at any time. Good starting point for activities in the area - various lakes and beautiful old towns such as Dinkelsbühl, Ellwangen, etc ... and Limes circuit.
