I have been to Robbenhaven many times and because of the absolutely nice staff at Robbenhaven and the nice show my rating deserves 5 stars. The front area welcomes you nicely, after the show the animal trainers take the time to ask questions and all of them are very nice and competent. Even if you come outside of the show times you can watch trainings or just watch the animals. The animals are obviously doing well, they are having fun and you can clearly tell that the trainers have a good connection to the animals. So far 5 stars!
BUT: the rest is really a disaster. Hardly anything has changed in the past 20 years except for the "set design". The house is not very inviting, the toilets are dirty, it stinks of sewer, the taps are difficult to turn and either there is not enough water or there is too much pressure. Soap has been missing several times, we don't even have to talk about disinfectants.
Some of the rows of seats are missing seats, some are broken. Why then only part of the seats were redone is a mystery to me. The technology doesn't seem to be the best either, the mic often fails and the music is just terrible and always the same. That was more beautiful you dolphinarium times.
Great show that not only the spectators, but also the animals fun. Robbenhaven is housed in the former dolphinarium of the Allwetterzoos Münster. Good that you have freed the dolphins from their cramped pelvis. The house is getting old. A renovation / cleaning would be appropriate.
