I used to be a loyal customer of this station in the past and never had an issue then, however lately it looks like they replaced the entire staff and last time I visited them the guy basically sold me an upgrade without mentioning anything to me (I had just expressed my preference for a diesel model). He sent me a contract for one amount when I got the keys and then, as soon as I returned the car, I was charged a different one (obviously higher). Apparently the contract was modified afterwards without me knowing. Worst part is, when I asked them to fix the invoice, they initially refused and it took several days and several escalations all the way up to Avis Germany's Managing Director to finally settle the problem. And if that was not enough, until the very last e-mail, they kept asserting I was informed, at least verbally (like if that would even matter), that the reservation would incur a surcharge. What a bunch of liars! Never again. They managed to lose a loyal customer (at Avis I have their highest tier status card: President's Club) in such negative times for the industry. Well done.

It was quite a mistake to pick the car in town. The lady was rather unprofessional and not helpful. We ended up waiting for the car as she provided inaccurate information. My advice, pick it from airport. Faster, hassle-free, in and out at no time.

Expensive and in every office have different prices. Very strange
