Great selection, especially if you are looking for whisky. Owner is helpful and knowledgeable.
I came to Dusseldorf on business, after a short visit to the UK. I went in a couple of whiskey tours tasting in London, and thought I had seen everything! I came into this store to buy something to have with my dinner at my hotel. I walked into the store and ended up staying until closing. I was educated about all sorts of Scottish single-malt whiskey. I bought three bottles that night, two to give as gifts and one to take home with me. Excellent experience. Would love to visit again.
Fantastic place with a stunning variety. At first you'll be overwhelmed by the choices you have but with help from the very friendly staff you'll probably end up making the right decision. Great experience buying a Whisky in this fantastic shop.
A large selection of single malt official bottlings. Very little to no independent bottler options (eg Cadenhead, Signatory etc). No price tag on bottles so you need to ask the price each time if you are browsing. The prices were definitely on the high side for those we checked. The owner does not allow you to use a cell phone in the shop for fear that you are price comparing (we were not). He dismissed looking at expert reviews online to help decide which bottle to buy as invalid.
The best shop to buy Whiskey in Dusseldorf. The variety of their whiskeys are unbelievable.
They have the best Japanese whiskeys and also the rarest in the world.
If you are looking for a gift, don't look any farther. I bought most my Christmas gifts from Mae.
