Out Of Context - this gallery has been a great hit with the current exhibition. The subtle US (actor) detective Columbo meets the suspect thinker of the French Auguste Rodin, in the middle of the Ruhr. A magical variety of paradoxes and utopias, inimitable and lavishly designed by Unai Etxebarria, find here a mobile, timid, temporary place to stay. One wishes that Etxebarrias pictures leaves a sparks flying. Sharpening our sense of art, as the grindstone of the chisel misses a usable grind. What you always and everywhere in the gallery KIR felt is the fiery élan of a small circle of art enthusiasts. They ignited fiery impulses with brushes and easel in the cold heart of the old town. Even more of it! Oberhausen, the cradle of the Ruhr industry, would increasingly shine through such gems. And gain even more of the steel city's radiance.
