Update as an answer: It didn't appear on the statement afterwards, the amount was shown as a balance on the online statement for 2 days, which I find annoying and unnecessarily costs. Since then, the consequence for us is that we no longer refuel there. Practical in itself, contactless. But the maximum amount was also charged to my credit card as well as the fuel amount ... always unfavorable when you have to take care of things that you did not cause yourself.
