Lotus gives all the benefits of an authentic, family-run restaurant. I am always please to be greeted by the quaint atmosphere and the friendly owners. My first time at Lotus I tried the pan fried noodles with crispy duck which I enjoy so much it's the only thing I've ordered since. The traditional cuisine has an incredible flavor I have not had before. The portions are great, with enough for me to take home which I rarely get to do at smaller restaurants. I particularly enjoy their spices which to my disappointment cannot be bought from a store as they are all home-made recipes. Lotus is the first place I go to when I'm in the neighborhood and I'm never disappointed.

It was my birthday and I reserved a table for 20 people. The service was super nice and friendly. They weren't pushy as you know from some Asian restaurants and yet they were there for us when we needed them. The food was excellent! I'm very satisfied! It was definitely not the last time we were there. Thank you! 5 stars out of 5!

Tasteless curry with rubber squid and inauthentic summer rolls I had ordered squid (No. 62) and summer rolls (No. 21) from the Lotus via Gourmet-Express. The squid was supposed to come with a hot curry sauce, which wasn't even spicy, although it was spicy as a note. Maybe too little curry paste was used, which made the sauce just plain bland to the taste. I didn't eat more than half of the squid because it was inedible due to the gummy consistency. For me, dishes like summer rolls and co. typically Vietnamese the FISH SAUCE and Vietnamese herbs (e.g. coriander), but that's not how the "Vietnamese restaurant" thinks, so I got some soy sauce blend. For me, the order was a pure disappointment. Too bad. Maybe you have to enjoy the suburb.
