Spacious zoo that is still being upgraded
Address: Mülheimer Str. 273, D-47058 Duisburg, Germany, The house is still home to an impressive number of species such as gorillas, orangutans, crested gibbons, marmosets, monkeys, but also the rare bear monkey, birds and pygmy hippos. Awesome is the acoustics when in the morning the gibbons sing in the house.
Simply wasted money!
Super nice place
The Equatiorium was one of the largest ape houses in Europe when it was built. Today the building is getting on in years, but the zoo has ensured that most animals have enough space by adding great outdoor facilities and reducing the number of species. The house is still home to an impressive number of species such as gorillas, orangutans, crested gibbons, marmosets, monkeys, but also the rare colobus monkeys, birds and pygmy hippos. The acoustics are brilliant when the gibbons sing in the house in the morning.
