A quiet place of remembrance. Here, on April 27, 1945, American low-flying aircraft mistakenly shot at a prisoner transport that they thought was a German military train. In the wagons, however, Jewish concentration camp prisoners from the Kauferingen concentration camps were penned up, which were to be brought to Dachau. Approximately 150 prisoners lost their lives in the attack. They were buried in three collective graves in early May.
