I brought my notebook (bought in mid-June of this year) over with the information that the operating system would not boot because the drivers had disassembled during the Windows update. Then the hard drive was removed and it was found that the operating system would not boot - surprise! In addition, another disk was installed to make sure that it really wasn't on the disk - surprise, it was really the operating system. In the end, there was no solution to the problem, but I was 55 euros poorer for the unnecessary hardware check and the finding that it really is the operating system. The installation of the new operating system would have cost a lot extra, so I had it done for free at work. Stick with the downloaded operating system in, half an hour was done. Wasn't a hassle. Interestingly, it was found that there was no more data on the hard drive. But I don't know whether this is due to Hard or the stuff was gone before. But there is more ... After the "hardware inspection" the notebook made loud noises, so a complaint was made. Then it said: Fan defective, we can't help it, it's not the hard drive and cannot be repaired because the spare part is no longer available, 35 euros for opening the lid and looking inside please ... 90 euros spent and in for it got nothing at all, except of course that the fan is now over. It was really worth it ... Now I can send the notebook to the dealer and hope that he will replace the fan for me. Takes about four weeks during which I can't use the part. When I asked whether that would cause stress with the warranty, because Hard was fiddling with the thing, the managing director only said: Nobody notices that we did something there. I've seldom seen such a mess. My recommendation: go somewhere else if you have a problem with your computer.
