I have already bought several times at Antiquariat Ballmert's website. Everything was always the way you want it to be. The description is correct, the packaging is perfect and the order was always processed quickly. This was my first time in the store. Despite the rural location, the selection is by no means 'village-like' and the shop can certainly keep up with the urban offers. Everything is sorted very clearly. There is sophisticated literature and books on topics such as art, philosophy, theology, regional history, railways, flora and fauna, but also health, hobbies and much more. Modern books are often like new, older ones are usually very well maintained. There are also records and CDs. I didn't look for anything in particular, but found a lot. I will gladly come again!

Wanted to buy a book, but the owner was just too lazy to look it up. He hadn't made the slightest effort to look up a few pages in one of his books. Then he got cheeky via email, although I, (this is verifiable via my email correspondence with him), decently asked to look up a page in this book. It was too much trouble for him and he didn't want to send anything to Switzerland anyway. Absolutely not recommendable to anyone. This is in no way bad gossip, but are verifiable documented email correspondence facts. I was then able to buy the book from another professional antiquarian without any effort, and it was only half as expensive ......
